Most with a degree in multiple of the fields, we think of buildings a little differently. With our unique profile we are experts at understanding the underlying principles of architecture and translating it into code.

Head of Machine Learning & Technology
Gothenburg
Alex leads our technical infrastructure and AI strategy. With an M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems and a background in full-stack development, he integrates cutting-edge technology to boost platform performance and productivity. As the architect of our proprietary AI systems, he continuously advances our technical capabilities.

Head of Application Development
Gothenburg
Andreas works across the whole stack, from the interface you actually touch to the services behind it. He's the developer who takes a feature end to end rather than handing it off at the boundary, which makes him the natural fit wherever a problem doesn't sit neatly in one layer.

Chief Technology Officer
Gothenburg
Erik is our CTO and a founding half of Hektar. With a M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems and a B.Sc. in Architecture and Structural Engineering, he is an expert at combining design logic with AI and machine learning.

Head of Backend Development
Lund
Henrik is our go-to expert for all things backend. He oversees the system architecture and ensures everything runs securely, smoothly, and efficiently. With a passion for performance, DevOps, and system optimization, he always keeps our infrastructure robust and production ready.

UX/UI Designer
Gothenburg
Lovisa shapes how Hektar looks and feels before a single line of code is written. She produces the mockups and interaction flows that guide development, and runs the user tests that tell us whether an idea holds up in the hands of actual architects and planners.

Head of Computational Design
Stockholm
Martin bridges the gap between architectural thinking and computational logic. With a M.Sc. in Architecture and Urban design and deep passion for coding, he translates spatial ideas into structured algorithms. He’s the driving force behind the geometric design logic we’re building that enables the exploration of new architectural design concepts through code.

Computational Design Developer
Gothenburg
Mary-Ann translates architecture into C#. Starting with us as an intern and now a permanent part of the team, she develops the geometric and architectural logic behind our generative engine — with a particular focus on expanding the typology library that determines what building forms Hektar can propose.

Chief Excecutive Officer
Gothenburg
Sofia is our brilliant CEO, constituting the other half of the founding duo. With a M.Sc. in Architecture and Urban Design she specializes in combining architecture and algorithms to investigate a wide scope of design.

Most land acquisitions still rely on intuition and single-concept evaluation. Structured data layers combined with generative massing reveal what a site can actually deliver, turning gut-feel decisions into evidence-based acquisition strategies.
